Provitus from Poland: wholesale in Latvia through MARKETS

Provitus, the Polish producer of pickled cucumbers, stewed vegetables and sauces, is one of the partner brands MARKETS supplies to shops, caterers and institutional kitchens across Latvia.

Provitus is a family company from Radzymin near Warsaw. It has been on the market for over 30 years and makes about 100 products under its own name, mostly from vegetables grown by Polish farmers. The recipes follow the traditional home style, and the producer says it uses as few additives as possible.

What is in the range

The core of the range is cucumbers: dill pickled cucumbers Kaszubskie, pickled cucumbers with chilli and dill or with garlic and dill, the small sandwich pickles Krokodylki, cucumbers in mustard marinade in the Cossack style, brined cucumbers with dill (Latosie and Zuccero), salted cucumbers with garlic, and marinated sandwich slices. The cucumber salads Koreczki Curry and Kresowe belong here too. Most pickles come in 640 g jars, the salads and slices in 500 to 680 g.

The second family is stewed vegetables in 480 g jars: stewed beetroot, plain or with apple, stewed carrot, plain or with peas, stewed red cabbage, cabbage with dried tomatoes, the beetroot and cucumber salad Rubin, the Cossack-style salad, and potatoes with bacon. Marinated red and yellow peppers come in a 600 g jar.

Then the small jars for the condiment shelf: creamy horseradish and horseradish with cranberry (170 g), Pesto Basilico and Pesto Rosso (160 g), and three 170 g marinades and sauces for meat, fish and vegetables: chilli, garlic and wasabi.
